Photography has always been a life-long passion of mine. Beginning at an early age, I would document friends on the playground and family vacations with my first Brownie Camera. While raising three young sons, I decided to pursue photography more seriously, taking classes at the Edina Art Center, University of Minnesota and MCAD. Over the years, my photography has taken on new depth and meaning, gradually becoming a soulful art form.

My portfolio encompasses landscapes, people, places and things, or sometimes captures the essence of a moment in time. I seem to be drawn to images of nostalgia, simple beauty, or a profound reality of the human condition. For me, this art form simply brings me into the present moment, while envisioning my own personal interpretation of an image. Some of the images exhibited, may have a “dreamy” look, or a blur, along with a sweet spot of focus. This is intentional, as the camera looks both ways, with a more interpretive, less literal result. Sometimes the ordinary can be rather extraordinary!

I live in Minneapolis, with my husband, Ty, and golden retriever, Wrigley. I hope you enjoy my work.
